World Bank Group

The challenge: Employees at the World Bank Group contain a wealth of information about ways to support local communities, but knowledge-sharing is an ongoing challenge across the organization. The communications department wanted to identify ways to better connect and re-engage employees, so they asked A Hundred Years to help them better understand the employee experience in the DC headquarters and in field offices across the globe.

The solution: We developed three opportunities for knowledge-sharing: internal newsletters, a quarterly leadership playbook, and a redesigned homepage to better serve the needs of employees everywhere.

My role: I interviewed a few dozen employees about their experience, their day-to-day challenges, and how they stay connected to the global team. Inspired by the insights we gleaned from interviews and an audit of existing communication material, I developed the strategy and content for several communication efforts, including a quarterly leadership playbook, internal newsletters, and the intranet homepage.
